Plane with landing gear issues lands safely at Ardmore Airport

A plane with landing gear issues circled Ardmore Airport until it could land safely.

A plane carrying three people has landed safely after reporting landing gear issues.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand was called to Ardmore Airport at 2.27pm after a plane reported issues with its landing gear.

The plane circled the area for a time as it liaised with the control tower to sort out the issue.

It has since landed safely at the airport.
