Pizza worker punched during robbery at south Auckland shop

A pizza shop worker has been punched during a robbery in South Auckland overnight.

A police spokeswoman said a man walked into the Bridge Pizza in Mangere Bridge, punched the worker and made off with cash.

No weapon was used the worker did not suffer serious injuries, she said.

Police were hunting for the man, who made off in a vehicle.
