Pioneer Blue showed they could be a force to be reckoned with in Netball Wairarapa's premier one competition with a convincing win over Eketahuna at the Colombo Rd courts on Saturday.
This game was expected to be a close affair after Eketahuna's solid form in previous matches but it was Pioneer Blue who held the upper hand on this occasion, winning 50-39.
Celtic maintained their unbeaten record with a comfortable 40-19 beating of Wairarapa College, St Matthew's Collegiate produced one of their best displays of the season in defeating Carterton New World Vipers 43-40 and defending champions Harcourts kept their clean slate when Baywide Gladstone defaulted to them.
