Pie sparks rampage

An Auckland visitor to Northland became aggressive when refused a refund for a pie he was dissatisfied with.

Acting Sergeant Mike Greenwood of Whangarei said police were called to an Onerahi bakery just after midday on Sunday when the 17-year-old allegedly took a shopping trolley and smashed a glass food cabinet and threw down the cash register before running off.

Officers stopped the youth in Riverside Drive and charged him with wilful damage.
