Picks of 2014: Goran Paladin

Goran Paladin got into Breaking Bad in a big way and loved the Justin Timberlake concert in 2014.

Your soundtrack to 2014:

Anything by the Killers. Either their Best Of album, Direct Hits or Battle Born. Yeah, I know, both albums are kind of old. I'm guilty of not updating my iPod in a while, and that's what plays in the car ... either that, or Radio Sport. But Martin Devlin and Kent Johns are hardly a soundtrack for the year.

Favourite TV show of 2014:

I finally got involved - deeply involved - in Breaking Bad. I watched every single episode in the space of two months. It's the best TV show I've ever seen - just when you think you know what's going to happen, it goes in a completely different direction. So many good moments, but Walt, Hank and the desert is the best.

Best gig you went to:

Justin Timberlake. The guys I work with all gave me a huge amount of grief when I purchased tickets, but I'm so glad I did. He was sensational. And I don't care how lame that makes me sound.

Most fascinating celebrity of 2014:

I live with a couple of girls and they're always keeping up with that Kardashian family and I'm forced to watch. So I'll say Bruce Jenner. His awkward transformation from a man to a woman is almost complete.

Event/show/record/movie you're most looking forward to in 2015:

I'm looking forward to a bit of sport actually. The Black Caps winning the Cricket World Cup, and the All Blacks retaining the William Webb Ellis Cup would be ideal. And it goes without saying I can't wait to see Our First Home on TV One. That's definitely something to watch.
