Phone tap foils drug plan

Two people from Wanganui have been jailed after being caught on a prisoner phone monitoring system planning to smuggle drugs into a prison.

A 46-year-old woman was sentenced to two years and six months for cultivating cannabis and possession of cannabis and cannabis oil for supply.

A 36-year-old man, currently in jail, received an additional one year and three months' term for possession of oil for supply.
