Petrol back below $2 a litre

The price of petrol is back under the $2 mark.

Shell has taken three cents off the price of 91, bringing it to $1.99.9.

The company has also reduced the price of 95 by 3c a litre. The price of diesel has been lowered by 8c and is now $1.71.9.

Petrol prices have increased steadily since January last year, with 91 peaking at $2.18 a litre in July.
