One person suffered smoke inhalation in a yacht fire in Porirua.
Two fire crews were called to Mana Cruising Club on Pascoe Ave just before 8.30 this morning.
Fire Service spokeswoman Belinda Beets says the fire has been contained inside the large yacht.
She says the yacht was on land,
undergoing welding work when the blaze broke out.
Ambulance staff are assessing one patient at the scene.
