Person trapped in two car crash in Kihikihi

Emergency services were sentto a two-car crash on Rolleston St in Kihikihi where a person was understood to be trapped.

The crash happened at about 12.55pm today on Rolleston St between Herbert and Bryce Sts.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said a crew from Te Awamutu had just arrived at the scene. Police and St John were also on their way.

There were a reports of one person being "slightly trapped", the spokesman said.

It's understood the scene was cleared by 1.45pm.
