Save A person is trapped in a car that has gone down a bank in the Kaimai Ranges.
The person is believed to be seriously hurt inside the car near the intersection of Soldiers Rd and State Highway 29.
A spokeswoman for New Zealand Fire Service communications said the person was
trapped and firefighters were cutting the person from the car.
Police and St John ambulance officers are also at the scene.
