Person seriously injured after car rolls in Waihi

A person may be seriously injured after the car they were in rolled in Waihi this evening.

Police received a report of a single-vehicle crash on Parry Palm Ave about 7.10pm, a police spokeswoman said.

As of 7.30pm the person was out of the vehicle and was being assessed, and looked to have serious injuries, she said.

Traffic control will be in place while the scene is cleared.
