Person seriously injured after jetski and boat collide at Paremata, north of Wellington

A person has suffered serious injuries after a jetski and boat collided this morning at Paremata, north of Wellington.

Police said the incident happened about 11.30am in the waters off Ngāti Toa Domain.

“All parties returned to shore safely. One person was treated by ambulance for an injury.”

Wellington Free Ambulance said the patient was taken to Wellington Hospital in a serious condition.
