Person in critical condition after crash

A person was flown to hospital in a critical condition after a two car crash in Taranaki earlier today.

Police say the crash happened at about 5pm on Manaia Rd, north of Kaponga, and one of the cars rolled onto its roof.

They say the driver of that car was found in critical condition while the other sustained minor injuries.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
