Person dies in hospital two days after single-vehicle crash on Hororata Dunsandel Rd

A person has died in hospital, two days after a serious crash in the Canterbury region.

Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on Hororata Dunsandel Rd in the Selwyn District at around 5pm on Thursday.

One person was located with critical injuries and was transported to hospital.

In an update this morning, police said the person passed away in hospital yesterday evening.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
