A person has died in a house fire in Foxton in the Horowhenua district this morning.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said emergency services responded to a house fire on Reeve St, Foxton, around 4.30am.
One person was located in a critical condition and CPR was commenced, however they werepronounced deceased shortly after.
A scene guard is in place, and police and FENZ remain at the house as inquiries are ongoing.
