Person critically injured after water incident at Baylys Beach

One person is fighting for their life after a water incident in Kaipara.

Emergency services responding to a report of a drowning at Baylys Beach around 5.45pm on Thursday, police said.

"One person is in a critical condition and another person has minor injuries," a police statement said.
