Person critical after west Auckland crash

Police are investigating a double crash in west Auckland which left one person critically injured.

The first collision was between an Isuzu Bighorn four-wheel-drive and a silver Honda stationwagon at 7.30am on the intersection of Great North Rd and Rosebank Rd in Avondale.

This was followed by a crash involving the Honda and a Go West bus, police said.

One of the drivers was taken to Auckland Hospital in a critical condition.
