A person is in police custody following a bank robbery in Ōtāhuhu.

Police responded to a report of the robbery in South Auckland about 10am this morning.

A police spokesman said a woman left the bank with a sum of cash.

No one was injured in the incident.

The person in custody is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
