The Wairarapa Branch of the Vintage Car Club might be the first to properly 'tread' the carpark of Masterton's new town square, gracing the tarmac with cars from the 1920s to 60s.
The drivers were in Masterton as part of the Aging with Attitude Expo at the nearby Masterton TownHall yesterday.
Branch secretary Paul Lamb joked he couldn't speak for his own car, but they might also be the first to grace the tarmac with pools of oil from the vintage vehicles.
"This is an ideal opportunity for those aging with attitude to join our club," he said.
He said they had 150 members "aging with attitude somewhere".
