Vanessa Abbott-Martin has become client marketing executive. She was business development manager with Simpl Group.
Malcolm Paul joins as principal architect. He was also with Unisys and has worked in Britain.

David O'Hanlon is the new general manager of Bridge Information Systems. He has had 17 years in sales and financial market roles, working with Bankers Trust and Lehman Brothers in London and with Dow Jones Markets here and in Indonesia.

Linda Turner will join the Manukau Institute of Technology in June as dean of the business school. She is a former head of accountancy, law and finance at Unitec. For the last three years she has worked in the private sector, most recently as a senior consultant at KPMG Consulting. She is on the national council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is vice chairman of the Auckland branch.

The director of Woolworths (NZ) Ltd's retail operations, Silvestro Morabito, is moving to Singapore as chief executive of Cold Storage Supermarkets.
He will be replaced by Dennis Hanley, director fresh foods, who has been with the company for 18 months after working in the retail industry in the United States.

Peter Mathewson is the new northern region manager of Opus International Consultants. Mr Mathewson has had 26 years in civil engineering and was development manager with Serco Consultancy. He has also been general manager of Downer Construction.
He succeeds Alec Webster who has been promoted to general manager of New Zealand operations at Opus' head office in Wellington.
