eVentures has made three appointments to its online loan retailer, E-Lone. Katherine Dewar has become marketing manager, Don Morgan service and sales manager, and Kieren Cooney on-line manager.

Sue Hough has taken up the new position of corporate and groups manager with Beachcomber Resort in the Bay of Islands. She has been in retail management and hospitality in Australia and New Zealand.

Ken Morrison is the new general manager of Adfit Membership Services Ltd. He is a former joint owner and executive director of Cardy Business Machines.

Fred Yu and Phillip Greeks have joined exo-net international as systems engineers. Mr Yu is an analyst programmer and began his career with the Shanghai Chemical Co before moving to New Zealand in 1994. Mr Greeks was in technical and HR management with Rohm and Haas, and before that worked at MEP Instruments.

Kate Fitzgerald is the new northern field sales manager for Novartis New Zealand. She was working in Sydney as national medical manager for Mead Johnson Nutritionals Australia. Before that she was New South Wales sales manager for 3M Pharmaceuticals.

First Travel Management has promoted Marie Pusinelli to manager. She has been a senior account manager with the firm for four years and has also worked in the hotel industry in the Pacific, in merchant banking, and in HR for a large European corporate.

Peter Vanderbeke is the new general manager for Equant Integration Services Ltd. He has had 20 years in IT and related industries in Europe and New Zealand, and was general manager at SGI New Zealand.

Trevor Bishop has joined Quality Bakers NZ Ltd as bakery manager Auckland. He was manager special projects with Carter Holt Harvey Tissue. Mr Bishop is from Canada where he was director of operations with Scott Paper in Ontario. He replaces Charles Miller who now heads Goodman Fielder Milling & Baking's new sweet and savoury division.

Kim Schofield has become national sales manager with Walker Wireless Ltd. She was with Telecom where she held several senior roles.

Kathir Kathiravel is exo-net international's new project manager. He was an IT consultant and analyst for Royal and SunAlliance New Zealand Ltd and has also worked with the Norwegian multinational Norsk Hydra AS.

Blackmores New Zealand Ltd has appointed Stephen Hay sales and marketing manager. He has more than 15 years in sales and sales management, most recently with Carter Holt Harvey Tissue where he was manager, national commercial sales.

The information systems manager for McDonald's Restaurants of New Zealand, Ray Cattle, has become information systems consultant McDonald's Asia Pacific region. He will be Auckland-based but will travel extensively. He has been replaced by Peter Van Dyk.

Martin Wylie is the new chief executive of Simpson Grierson. He was a self-employed business consultant working for the World Bank on a number of projects in Africa. Mr Wylie is a former group managing director of Aetna Health (NZ) Ltd and a former company secretary of Telecom New Zealand. He is a qualified lawyer and an associate member of the Institute of Corporate Managers.
