A pedestrian remains in a critical condition after being hit by a car near a busy roundabout in Auckland yesterday.
The man was crossing Mt Albert Road near the Royal Oak roundabout when he and a second person, a woman, were hit by a car about 4pm.
Both were taken
to Auckland City Hospital.
A hospital spokeswoman said the man was still in a critical condition this morning. The woman was stable.
The road was closed for about four hours while the scene was cleared.
