Pedestrian reportedly seriously injured after accident involving car in Blenheim

Dillons Point Rd from Grove Rd is currently closed after a serious crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

Emergency services are responding to a serious crash in the Blenheim suburb of Islington.

Police said crews were called about 4.40pm to the crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

“Initial indications are that the pedestrian has serious injuries,” police said.

Dillons Point Rd is currently closed from Grove Rd.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.”
