A pedestrian has been injured in a hit and run in Queenstown tonight.
Police were alerted to the incident near Adelaide St and Frankton Rd at 10.06pm, a police spokesman said.
"The driver of the silver station wagon has left the scene, possibly travelling up Melbourne St.
"Police are making
enquiries to locate the driver."
The pedestrian was taken to Dunedin Hospital by ambulance.
