Trevelyan's Pack and Cool Ltd is a privately owned business
operating from a large, modern, centralised site in Te Puke.

We provide packing and cool storage for kiwifruit, avocados
and feijoas. With four packhouses and 32 coolstores on our
20ha site, optimising outcomes for our growers through quality
systems, continuous improvement and innovation is our priority.

We have a family-like team which grows from 140 permanent staff to
about 1500 for our kiwifruit harvest season. We are industry leaders in
sustainable business development and LEAN manufacturing and have
made significant investment in modern cool storage and technology.
The kiwifruit industry and Trevelyan's in particular, is experiencing rapid
growth and expansion.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a challenge to
take a leading role in our Payroll Department. As part of our succession
planning you will be working alongside the existing payroll manager for
an extended period of time before taking the lead.

This is a year-round position requiring an experienced, energetic,
people person who will fit with the culture of our company.

We are looking for someone who has:
• Previous payroll experience.
• Developed Excel skills.
• Problem solving abilities and is a team player.
• Good communication skills and the ability to deal with the variety of
issues arising from employing more than 1500 staff during our main
pack season.
• The ability to liaise with external organisations such as IRD, MSD and ACC.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
