Fatal motorbike crash at Parihauhau Rd, Parikino near Whanganui

A man has died after his motorbike crashed with a ute near Whanganui this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Parihauhau Rd, off State Highway 4, about 1.40pm.

The motorcyclist was found dead at the scene, police said.

The occupants of the ute were uninjured.

The police’s Serious Crash Unit has completed a scene examination and the road has since reopened.
