Parachute stunt goes wrong at Warriors game

The Warriors' season-opening NRL match at Eden Park saw the services of St John required at halftime.

In a sport known for its big hits, the most painful came during the halftime entertainment, when one of six skydivers parachuting into the stadium mistimed his landing and had to be stretchered off.

The skydiver lay prone on the Eden Park turf for several minutes, before St John staff attended to what appeared to be a serious leg injury.
