A 40-year-old man accused of murdering another man at a South Auckland boarding house can now be named.
Mohammed Shaiyaz Shaheem, 40, appeared in the High court at Auckland this morning charged with the murder of 40-year-old Jima Shemaon Zaya.
Shaheem's name suppression lapsed today.
He was arrested in May
after Zaya's body was found at a boarding house in Papatoetoe on May 20.
Police were called to the address about 7pm where they discovered Zaya's body.
