A man has been arrested on firearms-related charges in Palmerston North tonight following an Armed Offenders Squad operation in Kelvin Grove.
The 27-year-old man was arrested following an armed incident in Palmerston North city last night, a police spokesperson said.
A firearm and ammunition was recovered by police during the
operation.
The man will appear in Palmerston North District Court tomorrow on firearms-related charges.
