A worker is nursing injuries after he was attacked during an early morning ram raid at a east Auckland petrol station.
Police say a stolen car smashed its way through large glass panes at the front of the Gull station on Reeves Rd, Pakuranga around 4.45am.

Bright said after crashing through the building those inside the car assaulted a staff member inside the store at the time.
The worker suffered minor injuries in the violent robbery.
The ram raiders then left in a second getaway vehicle.
