Save More than 900 people are set to get compensation after a transport debacle stopped them getting to the Rugby World Cup opening ceremony.
Auckland Council today confirmed 462 ticket holders had registered for a promised compensation package over the opening night transport failures.
They had registered on behalf of 922
people, a council spokeswoman said.
She said council was still working out the details of the compensation package, but it was likely to involved tickets to future games.
Anyone registering late was to be dealt with on a case by case basis.
