Save Otago is next in line for a prolonged spell of wet weather, and farmers are being encouraged to shift stock and equipment to higher ground.
Regional Council flood managers are preparing for heavy falls, and say the rain could last until Tuesday in north-eastern parts of the region.
The heaviest
falls are expected tonight in the Shag and Kakanui catchments.
