SYSTEMS ENGINEER (GRADUATE)
An opportunity has arisen to join the OPAC team that prides itself on growing, harvesting, packing and cool-storing exceptional quality kiwifruit for supply through Zespri to export markets around the world. With a large post harvest operation in Opotiki we provide orchard to market services to kiwifruit
growers in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, and Te Puke areas.
Reporting to the ICT Manager the Systems Engineer (Graduate) will be responsible for delivering excellent support to OPAC staff with anything ICT related. The Systems Engineer (Graduate) will work closely with the ICT Team to ensure the smooth and effective running of OPAC's systems.
The successful candidate will have a passion for IT, a hunger for learning, and experience with taking ownership of tasks through to completion. Driven to contribute to OPAC's success individuals will need the ability to focus on continuous improvement, striving to be the best they can be and seeking to exceed growers expectations by ensuring every fruit counts.
Key responsibilities of the role include the following:
? Helpdesk support to all staff in the business
? Desktop and laptop setup and support
? Application software setup and support
? Assisting with server hardware and software projects and support
