One treated for smoke inhalation after garage fire in Mount Albert

A person was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation after a garage fire in Mount Albert.

A Fire Service spokeswoman said when crews arrived at the scene at 7.10pm there was no evidence of fire.

One person was taken from the scene to hospital for treatment.
