One person suffers moderate injuries, another minor injuries after Canterbury car crash

One person has moderate injuries and another minor injuries after a crash in Canterbury this morning.

Two cars collided on Main South Rd, north of Dunsandel, just before 6am.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman Brent Dunn said firefighters cut a trapped victim from one of the cars.

Both patients were treated by St John Ambulance staff at the scene.
