One person seriously injured after car rolls in Canterbury

One person is seriously injured after a car rolled in Canterbury overnight.

A Fire and Emergency spokesman said crews had to free the victim from the wreckage after the crash, on Feredays Rd, Leeston, about 4am.

The driver was taken to hospital by helicopter.

The road will be closed while the Serious Crash Unit investigations.
