One person injured after ute careens into creek in Lower Hutt

One person has sustained injuries after their ute went into a river in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt.
Police were called to the scene on Eastern Hutt Rd just after 2pm.
The solo occupant of a ute had driven the vehicle into a small creek between Stokes Valley Rd and Reynolds
Bach Dr.
A police spokesman said the person was out of their vehicle when they arrived and had sustained injuries.
"To what extent, we don't yet know," the spokesman said.
