One person has been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at an historic central Dunedin building this afternoon.
Five fire trucks were called to the blaze in a bedroom above a book shop on Princes Street about 2.30pm, a Southern Fire Communications spokeswoman said.
The Otago Daily Timessaid one person had been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
