Emergency services were called to the scene, located near Boundary Rd and Peachgrove Rd in the city centre, at 10.40am today.

St John Ambulance said one person had moderate injuries and had been taken to Waikato Hospital.

A police spokeswoman said the incident involved a vehicle crashing into a bakery.
