One person dead after crash in Harewood, Christchurch

One person has died after a single-vehicle crash in Christchurch this morning.

Police were called to McLeans Island Rd in Harewood, near the city’s airport, about 2.30am.

The sole occupant was found dead.

The road remains closed, with traffic management in place.
