One person cut from car after West Auckland crash

One person has been cut from a vehicle after a crash in West Auckland tonight.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Bruce McLaren Rd and Parrs Cross Rd about 7.05pm.

Police Northern Communications Shift Inspector Tony Wakelin said one person was trapped and had to be cut from one of the cars.

"One vehicle came off the road and went into the trees," he said.

"Fire [officers] had to cut them out of the vehicle."

A St John spokeswoman said one person was transported to North Shore Hospital in a moderate condition and two other people were treated at the scene.

The crash had blocked parts of the road, but was being cleared.
