One person critically injured in two-car Upper Hutt crash

Save One person has been critically injured and another has moderate injuries following a two-car smash in Wellington.
Police said they were called to the accident on Haywards Hill Road, Upper Hutt at 4.40pm.
Wellington Free Ambulance spokesman Daniel Paul said one man received critical injuries to his head and chest.
He had been taken to Wellington Hospital by helicopter.
A woman had received moderate chest injuries and was taken by ambulance to Hutt Valley Hospital, Mr Paul said.
