One person critical after car collides with pedestrian in Central Wellington

One person is fighting for their life in Central Wellington tonight after a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

A police spokesperson said police were called to Ghuznee Street, Te Aro, about 9.30pm.

One person is said to have critical injuries.

Traffic management is in place at the scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
