A male has been killed after the quad bike he was riding overturned on a beachtrack in Port Waikato.
An ambulance was sent to the quad bike crash on Mission Rd about 7.45pm, but the patient died at the scene, a St John spokeswoman said.
Police confirmed a male had
died at the scene, but it was unclear how old he was. The serious crash unit was investigating, a police spokesman said.
Fire service spokesman Paul Radden said crews attended the incident.
