One killed in Mt Roskill crash

Save A car was heard speeding in Mt Roskill before it crashed in to two parked cars, killing one person.
Police said residents on Farrelly Ave in the Auckland suburb of Mt Roskill reported the crash around 1.30am. One of the cars also hit a tree.
Senior Sergeant Matthew Knowsley said
indications were that speed was a factor in the crash.
"At this stage it appears that speed was a major contributing factor and alcohol is under consideration also."
