One person has been injured after a gas explosion in South Auckalnd this afternoon.
A fire service spokesman said two appliances were sent to the address in Otara about 12.45pm.
It is understood the person has suffered moderate injuries at the Housing New Zealand property.
It is believed the explosion
was caused by a leak to a hot water cylinder.
