One dead, two more injured following crash on the West Coast

One person is dead and two more are suffering moderate injuries following a crash near Hokitika, on the West Coast.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on State Highway 6, Ruatapu Rd shortly after midday.

The driver of one car had died and two other people had moderate injuries.

Diversions were in place and the Serious Crash Unit was investigating.
