One dead, one injured after crash between car and tractor

One person has died in a crash involving a car and a tractor.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Campion Rd, Tangimoana about 3.44pm.

One person died at the scene. Another person was taken to Palmerston North Hospital in a serious condition.

The road is closed and the Serious Crash Unit and Commercial Vehicle Safety Team are investigating.
