One dead in Wanaka house fire

Save A person is dead following a house fire in Wanaka overnight.
Emergency services were called to the Lagoon Avenue home in Albert Town about 4.30am, southern fire communications shift manager Tim Reynolds said.
The house was "well involved" by the time fire crews arrived.
"Unfortunately one person has died at
the scene."
Police and fire safety officers were at the scene to determine the cause of the blaze, Mr Reynolds said.
