One dead in motorcycle crash near Temuka, South Canterbury

A motorcyclist has died after a serious crash in South Canterbury.

Police were called to the single-vehicle crash on Factory Rd near Temuka around 7.50pm yesterday.

Police said one person died at the scene.

The Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination, and the road has reopened.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
